Farewell Style Me Pretty

It’s with much sadness we say farewell to Style Me Pretty. This iconic brand will be ‘switched off’ at the end of April by the company who took them over last year.

To lose such a valuable brand in our industry is heartbreaking. I don’t know about you but to think of the amount of archival inspiration, and over 10 years of hard work building the brand, can just disappear with a flick of a switch is saddening and frankly quite frightening. We pour so much time into our digital lives and the realisation it can be taken away so quickly makes me sit up and think ‘is there a better way?’

I’m deeply honoured to have been featured on Style Me Pretty, their standards were high and it was extremely difficult to be accepted for a feature which made wearing the SMP feature badge a very proud moment indeed. SMP you will be sorely missed, and sincerely wish the team the best of luck xx

Sneak PeekFaye

So lucky to photograph Faye’s post wedding bridal shoot.  Weddings are so fast paced with little time to dedicate to one element during the day, so it is really lovely to be able to spend a couple of hours just documenting the brides style and dress after the wedding day.  I definitely recommend any bride treating themselves to a day of pampering on set and enjoying their dress again before it gets packed away forever xx

Featured on Rock My WeddingA Floral Fairytale

Our beautiful Floral Fairytale is featured on Rock My Wedding today. Click here to see more.  It’s always such a privilege to have work featured when you know how much work goes into pulling a shoot like this together.

My love for Great Lodge in Essex started on my first visit.  There is magic in the air which I think comes from it’s history and the fact the owners have been very loyal to the roots of their home and kept every part of their renovations very rural and authentic.  It truly is a location that’s beautiful at every turn and has so much variety which is often lacking at many wedding venues.  My first visit was in Spring where the ancient orchard was in full bloom and knew then I had to design an editorial shoot inspired by the beauty it withheld at that time.

The creative team who brought my vision to life where just incredible.  They are true artists and very passionate about what they create.  Handpicked for the beauty of their work and honest way of working, which has depth, texture and intricacy.

The editorial is inspired by the delicacy of apple blossom and the fairy-tale of living in a rural English setting.

Charlotte and Paul, both fell in love with Crabbs Barn for its rural setting.  It was the perfect blank canvas to combine Charlotte’s love of design and Paul’s love for rural life.  With their closest family and friends, the couple held an intimate wedding, on a very sunny day last August, full of sumptuous flowers by Fallen Flower Design, and details inspired by outdoor English living.  Very excited to also see their wedding on Rock My Wedding today! Sneak PeekSarah & Jonathan marry at Gosfield Hall

On a cold winters day in January Sarah and Jonathon tied the knot at Gosfield Hall.  Gosfield Hall is magical in the icy air of January.  Frost bitten grass mixed with the rosy tones of garden roses and silver hues of the bridesmaids…all a perfect pairing to celebrate a winter wedding xx
