Featured on Rock My WeddingLaura & Chris marry at Prested Hall

I really loved photographing the wedding of Laura and Chris.  Laura is a very talented Fashion/Beauty/Lifestyle bloggist, link to her website below, and Chris is just super creative and has talents ranging from being a musician to photographing weddings.  Their ceremony and reception took place at Prested Hall which sits in a very pretty location in Essex.  The flowers were created by the incredibly talented Rebecca Avery Flowers, who also happens to be a dear friend of mine.  Although there were many highlights capturing their wedding, one of the main has to be  Laura’s bridal styling; she looked incredible with her beautiful lace gown created by Sottero & Midgley, and hair and make up by Amy Lawrence MUA .  Their gorgeous wedding is featured on Rock My Wedding today – so click here to read more of their wedding story xx

Fine Art Photography

December is going to be a month of preparing for Christmas, (my favourite time of the year), and learning new skills.  Since I was a little girl I’ve been obsessed with fairy-tales and thought initially that I’d be an artist, bringing my imaginative stories to life through watercolour.  Sadly my watercolour skills and ability to translate my ideas to paper failed miserably!  But then I came across a couple of fine art photographers who specialise in composite photography.  There work has rekindled the flame to create my inner world.  So my project for December is to produce a fine art composite photograph which, if good enough, will hang on my wall.  I have no idea how it will go but what I have learnt in a few days about digital manipulation of a photograph is incredible and what that will bring to my wedding work is so very valuable.  Although not a composite photograph, this is my first fine art photography attempt.  I love how painterly it looks and feel the mood draws you to wonder what has caught her attention in the distance – it makes me very excited to see how my December project will go…..
